Ticket policy for charter flights

  1. All reservations must be prepaid to guarantee the charter.
  2. Cancellation Policy: // 24 hours before your flight - 100% penalty // 1 - 6 days before your flight - 75% penalty // 7 - 30 days before your flight - 50% penalty // 31 and more days before your flight - 25% penalty
  3. Changes Policy: // 48 hours before your flight - $100 per change // Less than 48 hours before your flight - $250 per change
  4. NO SHOW will lose full charter payment.
  5. The check in must be done at the Counter of each station, 45 minutes before departure in Vieques, Culebra, San Juan Isla Grande, St. Croix or Ceiba, 2 hours before departure in San Juan International Airport (LMM). Failure to do so may result in cancellation of your charter.
  6. Vieques Air Link. Inc. do not assume any responsibilities for expenses resulting from failure to departures or arrival times stated not for the failure to make connections to other flights.
  7. We recommend all passengers to bring a maximum of 30 pounds of luggage, excess of the aircraft capacity cannot be carried. Each bag cannot exceed 50 pounds.
  8. Vieques Air Link, Inc., RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL YOUR SEAT/CHARTER, IF PASSENGER BEHAVIOR REPRESENTS A THREAT TO THE SAFETY OF THE FLIGHT. (Ex. Too sick or drunk, with a nervous breakdown, etc.)
  9. Vieques Air Link, Inc. RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ACCEPT CANCELLATIONS DUE TO MOTHER'S NATURE SUDDEN CHANGES AND ANY OTHER SITUATION WHICH MAY BE PARTIALLY OR TOTALLY OUT OF OUR HANDS TO SOLVE IN ORDER TO PROVIDE OUR SERVICES.
  10. Waiting time rate: $200 per hour, subject to availability. Non-fractional
  11. Vieques Air Link will not carry fire arms in our San Juan International flights except for active duty Local Enforcement Officer.

Passengers traveling with pets:

  1. Must inform us you are traveling with a pet while making a reservation.
  2. Vieques Air Link (VAL)accept only one pet per flight per kennel.
  3. Pet charge is $15.00 each way. 
  4. Pet have to show good hygiene and travel, for safety reasons, in a proper hard kennel.
  5. Total weight of the pet and kennel may not exceed 30lbs. Pet kennel maximum measure is 26"X18"X17". Kennels bigger than the specified size do not fit in the aircraft and will not be accepted. If this becomes a reason for you not to travel once you arrive to the scheduled flight, the less than 48 hrs cancellation fee applies.
  6. Vieques Air Link provides kennel for an extra charge of $15.00, pet must fit comfortably in these kennels in order to be used.
  7. Pet will travel on cargo area; not carry-on. Please refer to our Service Animal policy for information about traveling with service animals.
  8. Charters flights could be arrange on VAL availability to accommodate a passenger with a service animal that is too large.
